We are a community of individuals who are committed to making a difference in the life of our equine patients and their owners.
Since our inception, the AAEVT's mission has been clear: to provide premium continuing education, create a thriving community, and to advocate for the entire equine veterinary health care team. We are passionate about our profession, striving to equip our community with the tools needed for success.
Our initiatives span across the U.S. and virtually, encompassing in-person wet labs and lectures, including a four-day annual conference, and monthly online events. Our suite of resources for our members features our Career Center, Online Certification Academy, focused specialty Societies, and Equine Manual.

Education
As an AAEVT member, you will have access to premium educational opportunities. These include our Annual Conference, Regional Educational Events, and our topic focused forums such as our Anesthesia Society meetings.
Training
We believe hands-on experience is the best way to learn new skills. To ensure our members are always able to contribute at their highest level, we provide focused wet/dry lab events with industry leading speakers and instructors.
Community

Career
Our Career Center is a one-stop resource with advancement tips and easily searchable opportunities in the equine industry. It is designed to connect job seekers with potential employers and help employers find top talent for their practices and hospitals.
Advocacy
We believe it is vital for our profession to have a voice. Don’t you? Your AAEVT membership gives a voice to our profession. Together, we’re continuing to advocate for the entire equine veterinary health care team.
Recognition
Recognition is an essential part of our community. Each year we accept nominations for various AAEVT awards, that are highly regarded in our field. Members also have the opportunity to present at events and submit articles for inclusion in notable industry publications.
I am constantly reminded how lucky I am to be part of the AAEVT when I need to reach out for information, recommendations and advice from my peers. Having access to a dedicated, professional group of technicians and assistants is invaluable on a daily basis; not just at our annual meeting.
